Women Empowerment

"There is no chance for the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved because,it is not possible for a bird to fly on only one wing"
                -Swami Vivekananda.

        It is rightly said by Swami Vivekananda that 'there is no chance for the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved...'.Swami Vivekananda gives much importance to the condition of women. He says that, for the of the world,it's necessary to improve the condition of women.He considers women a wing of a bird,bird means our country or whole world.Without wing a bird cannot fly and without women this world cannot take breath or cannot live.But it's possible only when the condition of women is improved.

I fully agree with this quote.Women's condition is not yet improved.Many of us believe that in this changing India,women's condition is improved and they can easily adjust with the male dominated society,but it's not right. I think that on the surface level of the society,the condition of women seems improved or women seem empowered but the harsh reality or bitter truth is that,they are not.Still they have to suffer a lot in this society.

Male dominated society consider women as a weaker sex means physically and mentally they are weaker than males.

Yes we badly need women empowerment for the country to move forward. after all, you cannot expect a nation to progress with more than half of its people falling behind. but equal rights mean buying a toy car for your child son, and a doll for the daughter; not the same toy for both.

in a society not everyone is a doctor or an engineer or teacher. everyone has their own role to play. empowerment should be preparation for fulfilling one's role in the best way. it is historically proven that it takes an 'empowered' woman to build an healthy family. and only a healthy families build a prosperous society.

           Some of my friends may be disagree with my views but i have mentioned one word 'surface level',by this word i mean that in metro cities womens' condition is quite good but if we look at rural areas,the condition is worst.We cant deny the fact that at rural level women are treated like anything.Some of the villages in Rajasthan and Uttarpradesh still believe that girl child and women are the burden of tension for family,and they are not allowed to go outside for the study purpose.They forced to do only household works nothing else.Though they are full of abilities and skills,they have to repressed their desire to achieve something.

   I have read the blog of Dr.Sarojini Sahoo on feminism and i have cammented, that;
"I think that 'Women is born mother' and that's why in childhood she wants to play with doll rather than cars and all that... so u r right that men and women are biologically different from each other.You have discussed very nicely each and all the things.

Still there are some rural areas where women are treated like anything.You have mentioned that "i m nt against the patriarchal society......" yes i m agree with u, i m also nt against with that kind of system bt it doesnt mean that we have no equal rights...there should be equality.Nature has already given the suprimacy to women in each n every spiceis,females r powerfull than males.
yes men and women r different biologically but society and culture also plays a vital role to mould their personalities.

the story of lion and rat

Once upon a time,in a thick and dreadful forest,a lion was sleeping beneath the tree.Suddenly, a cheerful rat came to play for a while.There he saw a lion.Unknown to the dangers of lion,he climbed over the body of the lion and started playing with his whiskers.suddenly,the lion woke up and roared in anger.The rat was trembling in fear.Watching a trembling rat,the lion pitied him.The rat was ashamed for his deed and begged to be pardoned.He also promissed the lion that he will help him in his critacal times.The lion,in a mood of disgust smugged at rat ang left him alive.Then one day a group of hunters trapped the lion in a net.A poor lion roared for help.As soon as the rat came to know about the trapping of lion,he came with a few friends and cut thenet.In this way he saved the lion.After that incident,they remained friends forever.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY: 1.A friend in need is a friend indeed.2.Never underestimate anyone in your life because you never know how one can be helpful to others.
